James Ronnie Daugherty, 58, of Briceville, died Thursday in his home.

Mr. Daugherty was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Daugherty of Briceville; sons, Pete Daugherty and Dave Daugherty, both of Knoxville, and Jeff Daugherty and Scott Daugherty, both of Briceville; brothers, Dane Daugherty of Briceville and Jerry Daugherty of Oliver Springs; sister, Judy Daugherty of Briceville; a grandson, Steve Daugherty; and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Sunday in Oak Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Pressnell, the Rev. Steve McDonald and the Rev. Terry Slover officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Martin Funeral Home of Lake City is in charge of arrangements.
