Johnny Thomas Daugherty, 40, of Lake City, died Tuesday in Lake City.

Mr. Daugherty was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Gladys Marie Seiber Daugherty.

Survivors include his wife, Maggie Daugherty of Lake City; a son, Jonathan Daugherty of Georgia; two daughters, Kimber Marie Daugherty and Caroline Lou Ella Daugherty of Dayton, OH; two brothers, Dan and Obie Daugherty, both of Briceville; five sisters, Margie Leinart of Medford, Shelby Harness of Buford, GA; Imogene Wilson and Pat Smith Cox of Knoxville, and Nancy Mitchell of Frost Bottom; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was Saturday in Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jessie Lawson and the Rev. Johnny Owens officiating. Burial will be 2 pm Sunday in Wilson Cemetery.
