Walter Herbert Eads, 89, of Nashville, died Nov. 22 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

He was the son of the late James C. Eads and Nancy Rich Eads.

Mr. Eads was a farmer. His wife was the former Ruby Cary.

Survivors include children, James Eads of Louisville, KY; Bill G. Eads and Linda Eads Cole, both of Nashville; sister, Ina Smith Ashlock of Celina.

Services were Wednesday at Upton Funeral Home with Arthur Pigman officiating. Burial was in Fitzgerald Cemetery. Upton Funeral Home of Celina was in charge of arrangements.
