Christine Holt Earley, age 78, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 1997, at her home.

Preceded in death by husband, Earnest Earley, and son, Charles Earley.

Survived by sons, Leon, William, Hubert, Clifford and Roy Earley; daughter, Betty Sue Sherrod; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Ellen Dunlap and Ruth Cates; brothers, Frank and Festes Holt; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Wednesday, Sept. 10, McCarty’s Woodhaven Chapel, 160 Edgemoor Rd.

Funeral is 2 pm Thursday, Sept. 11, McCarty’s Woodhaven Chapel, interment to follow in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
