Floyd “Jack” Eblen, 69, of Oak Ridge, formerly of Clinton, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 1996, in Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge.
Mr. Eblen was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Oak Ridge Elks Lodge and a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton. He was retired from National Cash Register in oak Ridge and formerly worked at Norris Boat Dock.
He was preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Edna Arden Eblen.
Survivors are daughter, Jonnie Faye Ball of Knoxville; three grandchildren, Gail Ball of Johnson City; J.C. Ball and Charlotte Ball, both of Knoxville; a sister, Jean Farley of Ormond Beach, FL; nephew, Ron White of Oak Ridge; aunt, Malinda Eblen of Kingston; special friend, Hazel Eblen of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.
Elks Memorial Service was conducted Tuesday, Feb. 13, in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel. Services were conducted by Oak Ridge Elks Lodge.
Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, Feb. 14, in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Clinton. Family received friends Tuesday, Feb. 13, in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.
