Clarence W. Eckerly, 84, of Brushy Valley community, Clinton, died Friday in Anderson County Health Care Center.
Mr. Eckerly was born March 4, 1910 in Tipp City, OH, to John and Minnie Eckerly.
He was a member of Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church, Ginghamsburg, OH. Mr. Eckerly was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Schroth Eckerly, in 1980, and by his parents.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Charlene Eckerly of Heiskell, John and Jane Eckerly of Clinton, and Ronnie and Donna Eckerly of Heiskell; grandchildren, Debra Graham, Angela Eckerly, Johnny Eckerly, Amy Eckerly, Lisa Eckerly and Marlina Eckerly; great-grandson, Bradley Graham; sister, Isabell Wilhelm and husband, Paul, of Tipp City, OH; and brother-in-law, Raymond Schroth and wife, Thelma, of Troy, OH.
Graveside service was Monday in Norris Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Burney Hutchison officiating. Cox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
