Edna Mae Edmonds, age 94 of Clinton passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001 at Briarcliff Health Care Center.

She was born Dec. 29, 1907 in Anderson County.

Preceded in death by: Parents, G.D. and Alice Sanders; husband, Ulas Edmonds.

Survivors: Daughters, Purn Phillips and husband, James of Clinton; Ruby Baker and husband Charles of Knoxville; grandchildren, Steven Phillips, Jerry Phillips and Celeste Ivey; great-grandchildren, Amanda Phillips, Andrea Phillips, Tony Phillips and Madison Ivey; several nieces and nephews.

Friends called at their convenience. Graveside service was 2 pm Monday, Feb. 26, 2001 at Sunset Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Bridges officiating.

Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
