Celia Fraker Elkins, 83, Hillcrest Street, Clinton, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 1996, in her residence.
She worked for 25 years for the former Magnet Mills in Clinton and retired from Fort Sanders Hospital as an LPN.
After retirement, Mrs. Elkins worked for Regency Health Care Center in Norris. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Elkins; and grandson, Barry Ray Elkins.
Survivors: Daughter, Bernice and her husband Clyde Farmer of Halls; son, RTay M. and his wife Gladys Elkins of Clinton; grandchildren, Joni Elkins of Knoxville, Sharon and Stanley Farmer of Halls; sister, Edith Simpson of Cleveland; brother, Erick Fraker of Heiskell; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 7-9 pm Wednesday, April 24, Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 am Thursday, April 25, Holley-Gamble Chapel, Rev. Gary Jenkins, officiating. Interment is in Woodhaven Memorial Garden.
