Arthur Elliott, 61, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, in Methodist Medical Center.

Mr. Elliott was born March 20, 1937, in Anderson County. He was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Buena Elliott; sisters, Anna Mae Guerrea and Mildred Williams; and brothers, Eugene Elliott, Morgan Elliott.

Survivors: wife, Emma Jean Elliott of Lake City; sons, Danny Elliott of Lake City, and Eric and wife Malissa Mocsari of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Crystal and husband Chris Dodson of Lake City, Danny Ray Elliott of Lake City, Whitney Mocsari of Oak Ridge and Michael Mocsari of Oak Ridge; great-grandchildren, Daniel Dodson of Lake City; sister, Mable and husband Patrick Neu of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; brother-in-law, Carl Williams of Lake City; brothers, Milburn Elliott of Andersonville and Benny and wife Debbie Elliott of Clinton; sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Elliott of Lake City and Barbara Elliott of Andersonville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was 6-8 pm Friday, Oct. 2, in Cox-Martin Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service in the chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Ault and Rev. Terry Slover officiating.

Interment was 11 am Saturday, Oct. 3, in Leach Cemetery, Lake City.
