Former Clinton resident, Kevin L. Ely, 33, of Buford, GA, died Monday.

Mr. Ely was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton. He received his education in Clinton and was a carpenter in commercial construction.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Ely, and grandmother, Edith Adkins.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Jewell Dean and Robert Free of Clinton; sisters, Evelyn Bolinger of Lake City, Glena Carroll of Wartburg and April Free of Clinton; brothers, Randy Ely of Knoxville, Bruce Ely of Clinton, Darrell Ely of Buford, James Ely of Plainview, CN, and Neal Ely of Oak Ridge; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2 pm Saturday at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton.

Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, was in charge of arrangements.
