Betty Lynn Embleton, 65, of Oliver Springs, died Tuesday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
A native of Mobile, AL, Mrs. Embleton lived in the Oliver Springs area for the past 48 years. She is a member of the Order of Eastern Star 211 Oliver Springs Chapter and retired in 1986 as cafeteria manager of Oliver Springs High School. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Cagley Sr. and Mammie M. Vaughn Cagley.
Survivors include Edwin Embleton of Oliver Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana Lynn and Clifford Anderson of Harriman and Debra and Dennis Hogan of Oak Ridge; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul and Diane Embleton and Allen Embleton, all of Oliver Springs; two brothers, Herbert Cagley Jr. and Charles Morgan Cagley, both of Oliver Springs; a sister, Ann Craig of Oliver Springs; and 11 grandchildren, Wendy Callahan, Angie Callahan, Derek Austin, Kandi Austin, Joshua Hogan, Paul Hogan, Sasha Embleton, Darryl Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Gabriel Anderson and Tasha Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 8 pm Thursday in Sharp Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Clyde Bass officiating. Graveside service and burial will be 11 am Friday in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
Friends may call 6-8 pm Thursday in the funeral home.
