Edna Lottie Emert, 81, of Clinton died Wednesday in Briarcliff Health Care Center.

Mrs. Emert was born March 14, 1913, to Floyd and Lurrie Rose Hogue. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, working in her garden, and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Emert; three sons, George Wallace Emert, Dewey Ray Emert, and Jerry Emert; one daughter, Lurrie Ann Emert, and by parents.

Survivors include a son, Marshal and wife, Betty Emert of Clinton; two daughters-in-law, Jean Emert and Jo Emert, both of Clinton; one sister, Thelma Rainwater of Clinton; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was Friday in Martin Clinton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Albright officiating. Burial was in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Sevierville.
