Jack Keith Ethridge, 37, of Clinton, died Tuesday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
The eldest son of Jack C. and Joanna L. Ethridge, he was born Sept. 19, 1958, in Houston, TX. Mr. Ethridge lived most of his life in Anderson County. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed target practicing on Windrock, training his dog, Jody, and woodworking. His family said he was a great philosopher of events of the future and of the past.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Louie Seeber of Oak Ridge; brother, Randy Ethridge of Clinton; nieces, Kari Howard of Oak Ridge, Kori and husband, Greg Phillips of Briceville and Randi Ethridge of Clinton; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Ethridge of Oak Ridge; and uncles and aunts, Charles and Shirley Ethridge of Texas, Don and Eva Ethridge of Ohio, Tommy and Sharon Ethridge of Oak Ridge, Brenda Demps of Oliver Springs, Marie and Shorty Ayers, Willie Wade and J.B. Dickerson, Josephine and Ronald Hollars and Burmah Garrett and Paul Talley, all of Livingston, Texas.
Funeral service was Thursday in Sharp Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Luke Kidwell officiating. Burial and graveside service was Friday in Anderson Memorial Garden.
Sharp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
