Euna Hackworth Keeney, 84, of
Clinton, died
Saturday at Oak Ridge Health Care Center.
She was a member of
Second Baptist Church in
Clinton and a member of the AARP.
Mrs. Keeney was born Aug. 19,
1908, in the Wheat
Community of Anderson County to the late Samuel and Nora Walters
Hackworth.
She worked
several years at Magnet Knitting Mills in Clinton. Hobbies were
gardening and quilting.
In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert
Keeney, in 1981; brothers,
Claude, Douglas, Clifton and Homer Hackworth and sister, Edith
White.
She is survived by a
sister, Hester Moore of Knoxville; a sister and brother-in-law, Lucile
and Howard Farmer of Oak Ridge;
brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Bonnie Hackworth of Lake City and
several nieces, nephews,
great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services were held Tuesday at Cox
Funeral Home Chapel
with the Rev. James McPherson officiating. Burial was at Tennessee
Valley Memory
Gardens.
