Roy L. Evans, 85, of Clinton, died Wednesday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

He was retired from Kelso Tire Company and was a member of the Third Creek Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Powell.

Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Roop Evans.

Survivors include a brother, Robert Evans of Maryville; and by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was conducted Thursday in Tennessee Valley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Roop and the Rev. Bill Roop officiating.

Burial was in Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens.
