John Sprugon Burris (called Paddle Foot) was born November 22, 1886 and died Feb 14, 1951. He was born in or around Minersville, Tn. He married Lillie Isabell Seiber Dec. 24, 1910. Lillie was born July 3, 1891 and died Feb. 19, 1935. They made their home on a mountain above Briceville, called Seiber Flat. John and Lillie were the parents of six children.

Nora Mae married Ed Wilson and Lonzo Byrd.
Albert Glea married Emily Roysden.
Alvin McKinley married Wanda Faye Foust.
Elsie Agnes married Flem Phillips, Jr.
Conda Everette died July 9, 1950 at 24 years of age.
Charles Benjamin married Gloria Fay Harmon.

John Sprugon was the son of John A and Mary Jane (Bullock) Burris. Lillie Isabell was the daughter of James L and Mary Jane (Harness) Seiber.
