Cecil Fannin, 66, of Lake City, died Oct. 11, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
He was born June 3, 1926 in Harlan, KY, but had lived most of his life in Anderson County. He was a retired sales clerk and a veteran of the Army and the Navy.
Mr. Fannin was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church.
His parents were the late Frank and Susie Wilson Fannin.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Fannin of Lake City; seven daughters, Schranetta DeBord of LaFollette; Louise Wilson of Arizona; Sharon Cross of LaFollette; Anna B. Hayes, Susie Gibson, Jackie Leonard and Janet Hembree, all of Caryville; eight sons, Earl Leonard and Billy Leonard, both of Ohio; Charles Leonard of Vasper; Curt Leonard and Lee Leonard, both of Caryville; David Leonard of Jacksboro; Floyd Leonard and David Rhea, both of Lake City; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Mayes of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Joe Mayes of Alabama; and many other relatives.
Services were held Wednesday morning in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev. Roger Powell and the Rev. Don Martin officiating. Burial was in Robbins Cemetery.
