Effie Mae Fielden, 77, of Highway Drive, Clinton, died Monday at her home.

Mrs. Fielden was born Oct. 11, 1914, in Anderson County to the late Lewis and Catherine Jones Woods. Her husband, Carl Fielden, died in July of 1986.

A homemaker, she was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Wanda Fielden of Clinton; grandsons, Jamie and Dallas Fielden of Clinton; sister-in-law, Pearl Woods of Oliver Springs; a niece, Ruth Coleman of Clinton and several other nieces and nephews.

Services were held Wednesday night at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Jordan officiating. Burial will be 11 am Thursday at Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens.
