George Curtis Finch, 83, of Clinton Rt. 1, died Saturday at Lake City Health Care Center.

A member of Bethel Baptist Church, he retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority where he worked with the maintenance department at the Norris site and also at the former Eagle Bend site in Clinton.

Hobbies were collecting and trading guns.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Jean Finch of Caryville; George Curtis Jr. (Jack) and Katy Finch of Belton, TX; grandchildren, Matthew Finch of Caryville; Kevin Finch of Belton, TX; Lisa Cast of Mabank, TX; great-grandson, Zachary Cast of Mabank; brother, Tommy Finch of Clinton; sister, Grace Ezell of Heiskell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at Holley-Gamble Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Robert Burns and the Rev. Gary Jenkins officiating. Burial was at Bethel Cemetery.
