Anna Lena Flinchem, 92, of Lake City, died Sunday in Lake City Health Care Center.
The daughter of James and Mollie Graham Homer, she was born Sept. 11, 1902, in Knoxville. Mrs. Flinchem was a devoted member of Lake City United Methodist Church for 69 years, where she served as church official, pianist and organist. She also was a 52-year member of Coal Creek Chapter 226, Order of Eastern Star, where she was past matron and organist. She also was member of Keen Club of Lake City and served as organist for Cox Funeral Home for several years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Pearce Flinchem; and daughter, Barbara F. Ferrari.
Survivors include son and daughters-in-law, Dan H. and Wilma V. Flinchem of Powell; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lyn and Rhea V. Harrell of Powell; granddaughters and husbands, Susan F. and Carl Wright of Powell, Pat F. and Al Lucksavage of Asheville, NC, and Rosemarie F. and Mike Ruiz of Bowie, MD; grandsons; W. Mark Harrell of Knoxville and Robert A. Ferrari and wife Donna, of Severn, MD; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two special nieces, Helen S. Herrell of Heiskell and Betty B. Dew of Lake City; and sister-in-law, Mildred F. Disney of Harriman.
Funeral services was Tuesday in Lake City United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Lord and the Rev. Ernest Wright officiating. Burial was Wednesday in Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens.
