Nellie Mae Braden Galbraith, 82, of Clinton died Sunday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Galbraith was a member of Frost Bottom Baptist Church, Oliver Springs, and had attended New Salem Baptist Church in Clinton. She also was a member of the Golden Age Group of New Salem.
The daughter of Billie and Elizabeth Aslinger Braden, she was born Feb. 7, 1912. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and raising flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank Galbraith, a son, Samuel Galbraith, and two infant children.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Willene and Johnny Allen of Joyner community and Nancy and Bill Anderson of Oliver Springs; two half-brothers, Arkus Braden and Arthur Braden; two grandchildren and their spouses, Clyde and Sandy Shelton and Melissa and Sam Martin; and by two great-granddaughters, April Shelton and Samantha Martin.
Funeral service was Monday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton, with the Rev. Edwin Phillips officiating. Graveside service was Tuesday at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
