Robert (Bob) Galbraith, 75, of Briceville, died Thursday night at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Galbraith was retired from Fisher Body, General Motors, Cleveland, OH, and was a member of the UAW Local No. 45. He also belonged to the Crystal Lodge No. 616 F&AM.
His parents, Miller and Rosie Galbraith, a sister, Mallie Smith and brothers, Jessie and Frank Galbraith, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Geneva Robinson Galbraith of Briceville; a daughter and son-in-law, Vera and Edward Bosko of Willowick, OH; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Linda Galbraith of Parma, OH; Butch and Karen Galbraith of Mansfield, OH; five grandsons and two granddaughters; a brother, Leroy Galbraith of Briceville; sisters, Minnie Parker of Briceville, Flora Seeber of Oliver Springs, Francis Phillips of Beech Grove and Maxine Reed of Oliver Springs.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday at Laurel Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Edwin Phillips and the Rev. Warner Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
The body will lie in state one hour before services. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 pm Sunday with Masonic services at 8:30 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Lake City.
