Funeral services were held Saturday night at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel for Flora Ellen Gault, 91, who died Oct. 7 at Regency Health Care Center North. The Rev. Glenn Gamble and the Rev. Jim McPherson officiated. Burial will be at 2 pm Sunday at Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Gault was formerly of the Claxton community and a member of Zion Baptist Church.

She was a longtime member of the Anderson County Home Demonstration Club, an avid gardener, and enjoyed crafts and sewing. She participated for many years in activities and displays at the Anderson County Fair.

Survivors include daughters, Helen Morris of Oak Ridge; Flora Alice Lewis of Claxton; Mrs. Wayne (Ruby Jean) Gann of Tucson, AZ; Mrs. Robert (Allie) Harrington of Concord; Mrs. Joe (Elsie) McCarty of Claxton; Mrs. Isreal (Mary) Ben Eliezer of Atlanta, GA; Mrs. Hershell (Beverly Disney of Claxton; sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Brenda Gault of Claxton; C.H. and Nina Gault of Oak Ridge; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lena Pickrell of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
