Lula M. Greene, age 80, of Nave Street in Clinton passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, in the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherwood Greene, and her father and mother, Mack and Ella Miracle.

Mrs. Greene was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton. She will be missed within her community, because she was a mother to those who needed help and special care.

Survivors: daughter, Patricia and husband Philip Harvey of Chattanooga; sons, John and wife Iris Greene of Clinton and Jack and wife Connie Greene of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Katie and Caroline Harvey, Keith and Kevin Greene and Christopher, Keri and Casey Greene; sisters, Inez and husband Jim Simpson of Knoxville; Octa Wilson of Pontiac, MI, and Nell and husband Bratcher Cheek of Pontiac, MI; brothers, Doyle Wilson and Herbert Wilson, both of Pontiac, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Saturday, Oct. 3, in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton. Funeral services will follow in the chapel with the Rev. Sam Dean officiating.

Interment will be Sunday, Oct. 4, in McCarty-Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
