The five-year-old grandson of Sara Price Kaebnick of Oak Ridge and John Price of Clinton, Jonathan Samuel (Jay) Hager, died Saturday at his home in Scottsville, NY., after a lingering illness.

He was born Aug 27, 1987 in Knoxville, to Samuel and Susan McCoy Hager of Scottsville. His great-grandparents are John and Sarah Spain of Oak Ridge.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, he is survived by a sister, Wesley Hope Hager of the home; his grandparents, Samuel and Johnsie Hager of Tazewell; his great-grandparents, Envah Hager of Princeton, WV; and Edna Talbott of Florence, Ala; an aunt, Laura Brown of Oak Ridge; an uncle, Jimmy Price of NC; and by several other relatives, including Carl and Brenton Brown both of Oak Ridge.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev David Hanes officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 am Thursday at Anderson Memorial Gardens.

The family requests that any memorials be in the form of donations to CURE, Childhood Cancer Association, 840 University Avenue, Rochester, NY. 14607.
