Albert E. Hale, 78, of Oliver Springs, died Monday in his home following a long illness.
A native of Turner Township, MI, he lived in the Oliver Springs area for the past 15 years. Mr. Hale was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was retired from General Motors in 1979 after 23 years of service. After his retirement, Mr. Hale enjoyed repairing small engines. He also was a member of Blair Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral service will be 8:30 pm Wednesday in Sharp Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Garvin Walls officiating. Graveside service and burial will be 11 am Thursday in Mount Pisgah Cemetery.
Friends may call 6-8:30 pm Wednesday in Sharp Funeral Home.
