Everett Adams Hale, 84, of Oak Ridge, died Saturday in the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Mr. Hale was born June 6, 1909, in Cotula to George Martin Hale and Hester Ann Newport Hale.
He was retired from the L & N Railroad.
Mr. Hale was a member of First Baptist Church of Clinton.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Spradlin Hale of Oak Ridge; sons, Bruce D. and Robert Hale, both of Kingston; a daughter, Shirley Brooks of Knoxville; sister, Leta Smith of Oak Ridge; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday in Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. Sam Dean officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
