Dessie Sexton Hall, age 86, of Clinton, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Windwood Health Care Center.

Dessie was of the Baptist faith and a member of Charity Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and siblings.

She is survived by: sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Lelia Hall of Clinton, James E. (J.E.) Hall of Clinton; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Carl Taylor of Clinton, Martha Lou and Ray Scarbrough of Clinton, Lana and Tom Kelly of Clinton, Loretta and J.D. Beets of Clinton; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends 6-8 pm Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002 . Funeral service followed at 8 pm.

Graveside service was 11 am Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at Pleasant View Cemetery. Chris Thomas and Charles (Bud) Cook officiated.

Anderson County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
