Edward H. Hall, 65, an Oliver Springs resident, died Saturday at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge after an illness.
Mr. Hall, an Overton County native, had lived in Oliver Springs for the past 50 years. He was retired from the city of Oliver Springs Water Works Department after working for 15 years.
He also worked for the Carefree Drive-In of Oliver Springs.
Mr. Hall was of the Baptist faith.
His parents, Robert and Sarah Emma Hall, five brothers, Lloyd, Dallas, Bill, Jimmy and Gerstal Hall and three sisters, Delphia, Dollie and Nellie Hall, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty H. Hall of Oliver Springs; children, Carolyn Byrge and James Hall and wife, Donna, all of Oliver Springs; a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford Hall and his wife, Martha, of Oliver Springs; sister, Belvie Phillips of Grimsley; sisters-in-law, Jossie Hall of Oliver Springs and Minnie Hall of Oak Ridge.
Services were held Monday in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Hensley officiating. Graveside services were at Indian Creek Cemetery in Oliver Springs.
