Rickie Louis Hampton, 38, died Saturday at his home on East Wolf Valley Road, Heiskell, after a long illness.

Mr. Hampton was born April 20, 1955, in Wayne, MI, to George and Rachael Hampton.

Mr. Hampton was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was a former supervisor with Hardee’s in Clinton.

A sister, Vickie Hampton, and brother, Michael Hampton, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Joanne Hampton; parents, George and Rachael Hampton of Heiskell; sister, Anna Marie Hampton of Heiskell; brothers, and sisters-in-law, Dickie and Gayle Hampton and Jim and Sheila Hampton of Heiskell; grandmother, Ruby Hampton of Marlow; mother-in-law Jean Gooss; brother-in-law, Tim Gooss, both of Illinois; several aunts, uncles and cousins; nieces, Cynthia, Elizabeth and Tiffany Hampton; nephews, Tyler Hampton and Randy Lovett.

Services were held Sunday night at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Disney officiating. Burial was Monday at Poplar Creek Cemetery.
