Aubrey M. Hatmaker, age 80, of Caryville, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2002 at Hermitage Gardens Health Care in Clinton.

She was born Sept. 18, 1921 in Campbell County.

She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Lake City.

Aubrey enjoyed working in her garden and growing flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her gamily, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved very much.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Orn F. Hatmaker; parents, Bertha and McKinley Jones; sisters, Thelma Lindsay and Wilma Jones; son-in-law, Darryl J. Leinart Sr.

Survivors: daughters, Annette Leinart, Sandy Cox and husband Jake, all of Lake City; grandchildren, Sherrie Hudson and husband, Randy, Misti Leinart, Darla Gray Carroll, Darryl J. Leinart II and wife Amy; great-grandchildren, Coty Carroll, Ethan Wilson, Josh Hudson, Lucas Baker, Sydney Hudson, Ellie and Joey Leinart; sisters, Jean McCulley, Jewell Jones, Polly Keene; brother, J. Will Jones.

Visitation was 6-8 pm Monday, March 25, 2002 at the Cox-Martin Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral services were at 8 pm Monday, March 25, 2002 in the Cox-Martin Chapel with the Rev. Rick Teague and Mr. Gene Wright officiating. An Eastern Star Memorial Service was held prior to the funeral service by the Coal Creek Eastern Star #226.

Interment was 11 am Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at the Campbell County Memorial Gardens in LaFollette.
