Clifford Herrell of Sweetwater passed away Tuesday afternoon Nov. 10, 1998, at Wood Presbyterian Home. He was 83.
He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Loudon and
retired from Carbide Y-12 Plant as a supervisor with 28 years of
service.
He was preceded in death by wife - Jessie Vance Herrell; sisters - Ollie Mae Herrell McLemore and Ruby Herrell Johnson; brothers - Charlie Herrell and Albert Herrell; parents - Oliver Houston Herrell and Sarah Jennings Herrell.
Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law - Nancy and Bob Lockwood of
Sweetwater, Sharon and Ervin Starwalt of Ft. Worth, Texas, Elaine and Jim Armstrong of Ponca City, Okla; sons and daughters- in-law - Cliff and Mary Ann Herrell of Springtown, Texas, Houston and Margaret Herrell of Azle, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters - Roxie Herrell Phillips and Emma Herrell Henry both of Clinton; brother - Oliver Herrell of Anderson County.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday
followed by funeral services at noon in the Click Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Obie Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the
Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Grandsons will serve as
pallbearers. Arrangements by Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City.
