Ben Hicks, age 12, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2002, in DeFuniak Springs, FL.

Ben was a student at Clinton Elementary School. He was a member of New Life Fellowship Church in Clinton.

Survivors: Parents, Jim and Sandra Hicks of Clinton; half-sister, Brandy Shari and husband Carl Thompson of DeFuniak Springs, FL; half-brother, Michael Piercy of Apollo Beach, FL; grandparents, Robert and Glenna Piper of Benton, IL; several aunts and uncles and close friends.

The family received friends 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service was 10:30 am Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Larry Potter officiating. Interment is in Sunset Cemetery.
