Rena Fay Hatmaker Hill, age 71, of Andersonville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Jan. 18, 2002.
She was born Jan. 23, 1930 in Campbell County.
She was a long-time member of Red Hill Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by: parents, Silas and Bertha Hill Hatmaker; brothers, Fletcher, Hubert and Elmer Hatmaker; sister, Ada Ridenour.
Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Carolyn Hill of Clinton, Leslie and Carolyn Hill of Manchester, KY; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Mike Hutcheson of Andersonville, Teresa and Jerry Godfrey of Powell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Troy and Jewel Hatmaker of Lake City, Ken Hatmaker of Andersonville; sister, Flossie Williams of LaFollette; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; special friend, Edna Wallace of Andersonville.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the funeral service following at 8 pm in the chapel with the Rev. Jerry Day and the Rev. Lonnie Dison officiating.
Interment will be at 11 am Monday, Jan. 21, 2002 at Red Hill Cemetery in Andersonville. Grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
