Timothy Keith Howard, age 39, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2002, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mr. Howard was born April 23, 1962, in Ft. Bragg, NC.

He was of the Baptist faith. He worked in construction as a roofer. Mr. Howard was a native of Ft. Bragg, NC, having lived in Alabama and Oliver Springs for the past nine years.

Survivors: Companion, Melissa Burchfield of Oliver Springs; step-son, Adam Burchfield of Oliver Springs; father, Robert Howard of Oliver Springs; mother, Carolyn Howard of Mauk, GA; brothers, Robert Howard Jr., of Dothan, AL, Jeffrey Dean and Randall Howard of Mauk, GA, Trent Howard of Maryville; sisters, Carol Jean Harrison of Phenix City, AL, Susan Bingham of Oakdale, Melody Shepherd of Dothan, AL, April Ray of Phenix City, AL.

The family received friends Sunday, March 31, 2002, at Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral service was 8 pm Sunday, March 31, 2002, in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry L. Braden officiating. Burial and graveside service was 11 am Monday, April 1, 2002, at Indain Bluff Cemetery.
