Charles Henry Idles, 53, of Clinton, died Saturday in Fort Sanders Hospital, Knoxville.
Mr. Idles was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Clinton. A self-employed plumber, he was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nellie Mosley Idles; and brother, Jim Idles.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Jones, Idles of Clinton; sons, Jerry Wayne Idles of Lincoln, Neb., and Robert Farley of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter, Angel Idles of Clinton; brothers, Danny Joe
Idles, Steve Idles, Donald Idles and Vic Idles, all of Clinton; sisters, Charlotte Carter of Clinton and Denise Golden of
Jacksonville, Fla.; aunts, Pearl Landham of Jacksonville, Fla, and Naomi of Houston, Texas; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; and special friends, Glory Schranz and Karen Loveday.
Funeral service was 2 pm Wednesday in Church of God of Prophecy, Clinton, with the Rev. Russell Massengale officiating. Burial was in Leach Cemetery.
