Buster Jacks, 71, of Edgewood Circle, Clinton, died Thursday in his home.
Mr. Jacks was born April 27, 1922, in McMinn
County to the late Mrs. and Mrs. Bill Jacks.
A coal miner, he also was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Jacks of Clinton; five sons,
James Edward Jacks of Heiskell; Vernon Jacks, Dennis Ray Jacks and Fred Jacks, all of Lake City; Donnie Mark Jacks of
Clinton; six daughters, Lois Bunch and Virgie Cox, both of Lake City; Rosa Lee Leinart, Carol Ann Huckaby and Audrey Reed, all of Briceville; Gracie Ann Fay of Clinton; granddaughter, Tara Harness; a sister, Bell Keith of Benton; 25 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 pm Monday in Free Pentecostal Church of God with the Rev. Jeril Barnett
officiating. Burial will follow in Leach Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 - 9 pm Sunday in Martin Funeral Home in
Lake City.
