Ada Jackson, 76, of Coalfield,
died Sunday night at
her home. Funeral services were held Tuesday night in the chapel of
Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver
Springs. The Rev. Jim Carr and the Rev. Loyd Napier officiated. Buriel
was today ( Wednesday) at
Anderson Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that
memorials be made to
Middle Creek Baptist Church, Rt.1, Box 38-D, Oliver Springs, TN.

Mr. Jackson was
preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Jane Riggs, and her
husband, Tommie
Jackson.
She was a member of Middle Creek Baptist Church and an
active member of the
Coalfield Senior Citizens. A native of Duff, she had lived in the
Coalfield area for 53
years.
Survivors include four children, Burnace Jackson and his
wife, Shelby; Charles (Bit)
Jackson and his wife, Brenda, all of Coalfield; Ellis Jackson, and his
wife, Pam, of Knoxville; 10
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Riggs Jr. of
Brookville, Ohio; a special
freind, Denver Wilson; and a sister, Vittadene Robinson of Loyall,
Ky.
