Emma Marie Jackson, 86, died Thursday at Anderson County Health Care Center.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Anderson County April 12, 1907, to the late John F. and Sarah S. Dishman.

Her husband, James Preston Jackson, preceded her in death.

A homemaker, she was a member of Olivet Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, James Walter and Mary E. Jackson of Oak Ridge; Lee Roy and Eva Lee Jackson of Hillsboro; daughter and son-in-law, Helen Marie and Walter L. Cox of Clinton; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Edna Murray of Clinton; brother, James Cleo Dishman of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Saturday at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Stephens officiating. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
