Howard Lonny Jackson, 89, of Lakeland, Fla., died Aug 8 in Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Jackson was born Aug. 13, 1905, in Coalfield. He had lived in Lake City for several years and also was a former Knoxville resident. Mr. Jackson was an accountant and had memberships in First Baptist Church of Lakeland, Masonic Lodge Beaver Ridge No. 0366, Knoxville, Valley Lodge Scottish Rite in Knoxville and Royal Arch Masons Chapter No. 155 in Coalcreek.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Jackson of Lakeland, Fla.; son, Kenneth Jackson of Pasco, Wash; daughter, Kathryn Jackson Kaiser of Lakeland, Fla,; brother, William R. Jackson of Clinton; and sister, Alma Duncan of Oliver Springs.

Funeral service will be 11 am Thursday in Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel, Fla.
