A retired Sprague Electric Company employee, James Mac Alderson, 67, of Clinton, died June 29 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was an Anderson County native.

Mr. Alderson had served in the Air Force during World War I I. He was of the Methodist faith.

His wife, Anna Lou Duncan Alderson, died in 1976.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Janie Alderson of Clinton; a daughter, Elaine Alderson, of Clinton.

A private graveside service was held July 8 at Leach Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Cline officiating. Cox Funeral Home in Lake City was in charge of arrangements.
