Lawrence Jeffers, 90, of Clinton, died Monday in Windwood Health Care Center.

He was a member of Stanfield Baptist Church.

Mr. Jeffers was preceded in death by his parents, Andy L. and Mary E. Phillips Jeffers; and his wife, Clara Bridges Jeffers.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Blaker of Clinton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Wanda Jeffers of Oak Ridge, Jimmy and Peggy Jeffers of Clinton, and Dan A. Jeffers of Salisbury, NC; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday in Stanfield Baptist Church, Elk Valley. Burial will be in Warren Memorial Garden

Family will receive friends 7 - 9 pm Wednesday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.
