Wilkie K. Keith, 87, of Oliver
Springs, died Thursday at
the Methodist Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was preceded
in death by his wife,
Laura Ellen Keith; parents, W.T. sr. and Annie Keith and a daughter, Mary
E. Alcorn.
Mr.
Keith was retired from Union Carbide Corp., where he had worked for 18
years. He was a former
member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Oak Ridge, where he served as a
deacon.
Survivors include daughters, Annie Fortner of Oliver
Springs and Helen Taylor of
Clinton; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wilkie
Keith of Corryton and Carl
Keith of Powell; sisters, Ruth Pyatt of Clinton and Ann Tabler of
Corryton.
Services were held
Saturday night in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with
the Rev. Charles Parker
officiating. Burial will be at 2 pm Sunday at Tennessee Valley Memorial
Gardens.
