Charlie Kennedy, 62, of Clinton passed away Saturday at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mr. Kennedy was a member of Rock Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Betty Cross of LaFollette, Barbara Hatfield of Packett Creek and Carolyn Ivey of Jellico; sons, Billy Ray Kennedy, Larry Kennedy and David Kennedy, all of Jellico, Bobby Kennedy of Ill., and Jimmy Kennedy of Va.; mother, Omey Kennedy of Jacksboro; sisters, Mae Sutton of White Oak, Blanche Seibers of Clinton, Faye Taylor and Adgelee Franklin , both of Jacksboro; brothers, J.D. Kennedy and Bon Kennedy of Caryville, Mark Kennedy, Vespar, Iralee Kennedy of Morlee, Tommy Kennedy of Ill., Eugene Kennedy of Fla., Lonnie Kennedy of LaFollette, Don Kennedy of White Oak; and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at Rock Creek Freewill Baptist Church and the Rev. Tim Bradshaw officiated.

Graveside services were held at Bowman Cemetery and Cross Funeral Home in LaFollette was in charge of arrangements.
