Harvey Kennedy, 66, of Clinton,
died Wednesday in
Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
The son of L.R. and Artensie
Kennedy, he was born
Dec. 13, 1927, in Campbell County. Mr. Kennedy was a member of Robert
Fork Baptist Church,
Beech Fork, and was a retired construction worker.
He was preceded
in death by his
parents; and by brothers, Carlee Kennedy and Thomas
Kennedy.
Survivors include tow sons,
John E. Kennedy of Union City, Ohio, and Hobert Dean Davis of Clinton;
daughter, Mildred Kay Davis
of Lake City; grandchildren, Amanda Sue Kennedy, Hollie Sue Stewart,
Brandie Stewart, John Thomas
Davis, Christopher Davis, Nathan Davis, Hobert D. Davis Jr. and Jacob
Davis; sisters, Bertha Marlow
and husband, Allen of Caryville, Verdie Shannon and husband, Elzic, of
Clinton, Ora Bowling of
Birmingham, Ala., and Artie Ward and husband, John, of
LaFollette.
Funeral service was
conducted Saturday in Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeryl
Barnette and the Rev. Bill
Thomas officiating. Burial was in Beech Fork
Cemetery.
