Ferrell Key, 54, of Harriman, died Wednesday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge following an apparent heart attack.

A life-long area resident, he was employed with Tri-County Mall as a security officer before his retirement. He and his brother, Don, owned and operated Keys Landscaping.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Key of Harriman; daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Danny Jones of Marlow community, Shawna and Ray tinker of Oliver Springs and Brandy Shuvon Key of Harriman; son and daughter-in-law, James Darrell and Melissa Key of Oliver Springs; brother, Don Key of Harriman; and grandchildren, Daniel Jones, Kayla Jones, Cody Key, Corie Key, Darrian Tinker and Destiny Tinker.

Funeral service was Thursday in Sharp Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Garvin Walls officiating. Graveside service was Friday in Mount Pisgah Cemetery.

Sharp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
