Charlotte Holley LaRue, 84, of Clinton passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 1999, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Clinton. She was an active member of Timely Topics Club, Garden Club and Wednesday Club.
She was preceded in death by parents, Paul F. and Roberta Stone Holley; and husband, Harlan LaRue.
She is survived by: Sister, Margaret Eager of Clinton; cousins, Dr. Gene and Madelyn McNeeley and children of Norris.
She had many special friends: Mary Nell and Ralph Ferguson of Knoxville; Fern Cantrell; Celdon Lewallen; Flo Stansberry; Cathy Brown; Jerry Riley and family, all of Clinton: Jean and Jack Bush of Knoxville; Tom and Trish Dollnig of Atlanta; Mary Florence Sharp of Clinton; Edith Wilson; and Mary Miller.
The family received friends 7-8 pm Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999 in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton.
Funeral services were 8 pm Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Warren Wattenbarger officiating.
Interment was 10 am Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, at Grandview Memorial Garden in Clinton.
