Gladys Lucille Lambdin, 95, of
Norris died Friday
morning in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Born March 30,
1899 in Union County,
she was the daughter of William Charles and Della Atkins Yadon.
She
was a member of the
Skycrest Methodist Church in Clearwater, Fla. Mrs. Lambdin was a
graduate of LMU and taught
school for a short time in Andersonville.
Mrs. Lambdin and her
husband, the late Walter
Lambdin, owned and operated the General Merchandise Store in
Andersonville for over 40
years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband,
who died Aug. 5,
1985.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gene and Cliff
Stephens of Norris; one
son, Bill Lambdin of Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; and four
nephews.
Graveside service will be 3:30 pm Sunday in Andersonville
Cemetery with the Rev.
Debra Watson officiating.
Family will receive friends from 1-3 pm
Sunday in Holley Gamble
Funeral Home, Clinton.
