Mossie Goodman Langley, age 71, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
She retired from South Central Bell as a Central Office clerk after 38 years of service. Mossie was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of North Clinton Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by: husband, Whiteford Langley; daughter, Shirley Langley; step-father and mother, Robert L. and Beddia Mae Lowe; nephew, Jerry E. Turner.
Survivors: son, Ronald Lee Langley of Clinton; nieces, Janet Turner of Clinton; sister, Pansy Hatmaker of Clinton; a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service following at 8 pm in the chapel with the Rev. Fred Long officiating. Interment will be 10:30 am Thursday in Zion Cemetery in Claxton.
