Rocky Dean Maples, 35, of Knoxville, died Monday.

Born Nov. 11, 1959, in Knox County, he was the son of Coy and Jo Ann Maples. Mr. Maples was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and was employed with Hutting Sash and Door Company.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Shelton Maples of Knoxville; two sons, Jason Dean Maples and James Houston Maples, both of Knoxville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sissy and Robert Haun and Staci and Jody Atkins, all of Knoxville; nephew, Cody Haun; niece, Kimberly Atkins; parents, Coy and Jo Ann Maples; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 8 pm Wednesday in Tennessee Valley Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bo Savage and the Rev. Ford Thomas officiating. Graveside service and burial will be 11 am Thursday in Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
